PROFILE OF MR. SIVA DHARMA RUDRA DEVA

(1) Mr. Siva Dharma is the founder of the firm which opened it’s doors on 3.10.1990.

(2) 
Mr. Siva Dharma is an advocate and solicitor called to the Malaysian Bar on 26.6.1984 and is an Utter Barrister of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple and was called to the Bar in England and Wales on 26.7.1983.

Profile of Ms Sharmini Navaratnam

(1) 
Mr. Sharmini Navaratnam joined the firm in 1996 after being attached to M/s Rashid & Lee, a leading firm in Kuala Lumpur working in the dispute resolution department which was headed by the former Chief Justice of Malaysia, Tun Zaki bin Mohamed Azmi. 

(2) 
Ms. Sharmini Navaratnam is an advocate and solicitor called to the Malaysian Bar on 26.10.1985 and is a Utter Barrister of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple and was called to the Bar in England and Wales on 27.11.1984. 

(3) Mr. Sharmini Navaratnam has extensive civil litigation experience having handled many banking and industrial court matters and was the counsel for the leading case of priority of floating charges namely UNITED MALAYAN BANKING CORPORATION V. ALUMINEX (M) SDN BHD & ANOR [1994] 2 CLJ 188 (SUPREME COURT). 

(4) After joining the firm, Ms. Sharmini Navaratnam has been involved in many cases involving insurance disputes with a particular emphasis on cases involving medical malpractice. 

(5) Ms. Sharmini Navaratnam is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a mediator of the Bar Council of Malaysia. 

(6) Ms. Sharmini has been the Honorary Secretary of the Medico Legal Society of Malaysia (1998 – 1999) and (1999 – 2000) and a member of the Bar Council Disciplinary Committee Panel (from 6.8.2004). 

(7)  Ms. Sharmini is a currently on the panel of Arbitrators of the Asian International Arbitration Centre and was formerly on the first panel of arbitrators of the Kuala Lumpur Reigonal Centre for Arbitration.

(8) Ms. Sharmini Navaratnam has been an invited speaker/judge for many institutions and conferences including the Insitut Latihan Kehakiman dan Perundangan and the Attorney General’s Chambers. 

(9) Ms. Sharmini Navaratnam has conducted many medical malpractice trials and is involved in disciplinary proceedings before the Malaysian Medical Council.

PROFILE OF MR. PANJACHARAM K. SUBRAMANIAM

(1) 
Mr. Panjacharam is an advocate and solicitor called to the Malaysian Bar on 11.9.1992 and has a masters in law from the University of Malaya. 

(2) Mr. Panjacharam has extensive advocacy experience in personal injury and insurance related matters having practiced in many leading law firms in Kuala Lumpur including M/s R.K. Nathan & Co, M/s V.P. Nathan & Co, M/s Othman Hashim & Co, and M/s Dass, Jainab & Co before joining M/s Siva Dharma & Associates in 2005 and has been practicing in the firm since.

(3) Mr. Panjacharam is a courtroom lawyer who has conducted numerous trials in the Sessions Court and High Court and matters in the Appellate Courts.
